Kenji Alucky

Stippling is a technique mostly associated with fine-tipped pens and a careful hand, but tattoo artist Kenji Alucky from Hokkaido, Japan is using the form on skin...
His exquisite pieces are filled with geometric forms, both natural and mathematical, and most are created using his signature method employing fine dots.
n their essence, all tattoos are in fact stippled, created by the tattoo gun that vibrates up and down with lightning quickness. What makes Alucky’s tattoos unique then is the purposeful slowing of this process. Unlike a normal tattoo that would use fine dots to solidly fill an area, Alucky’s technique requires that he slow down and carefully plan the spacing of each dot to create cleanly transitioning gradients and well defined shapes.
